The first SDSU – Georgia STEM workshop on Nanotechnology and Environmental Sciences is a startup workshop that aims at facilitation the development of the frontiers of science and technology in Georgia in collaboration with San Diego State University.  In the workshop the representatives of Georgian Universities, research organizations and San Diego State University will participate.

The general objective : existing academic collaboration between SDSU and Georgian universities – “to support initiative for science, technology, engineering and mathematics by implementation SDSU degree programs in Georgia” - to be extended via

• establishing tight scientific collaboration between the researchers from SDSU and Georgia
• preparing basic for inclusion of SDSU-Georgia students in future research activities
